Heading for the laundry room at the RV Park is never fun, in fact it can be downright frustrating at times. For instance, you peek into the room to make sure it is empty only to return with an armload of laundry and find all the washing machines full. How about when you get to the laundry room and discover that you don’t have enough quarters? Well, here’s an idea that will help you out.

Go to your local film processing place and ask them for a couple empty plastic film canisters.

Quarters fit neatly in these handy canisters and you can throw them in the glove compartment or the bottom of your laundry hamper and you’ll be ready next time you need to feed the washer and dryer.

I've also used the "mini m&m's containers" which holds just about ten dollars worth of quarters. If you're not a candy eater, you could use the leftover "Airborne" containers which also holds about nine dollars of quarters.
I use the film canisters to save the gold Sacajawea dollars. The containers hold 20 each, five containers fit in a small space, and you have $100 that you probably won't spend until you need it in an emergency.
I just use a change purse and keep it in with my detergent and fabric softener. When it's time for laundry, I clean out the quarters from my purse and my husband's change purse.
Good Idea ...but what is a 35mm film canister?????LOL

I leave a zip lock bag of quarters among the laundry soap/fabric softner in the bottom of the laundry basket along with a book or other reading material so I am always prepared.
Use you empty plastic medicine prescription containers the quarters fit perfect.
